As part of my Production Engineering Internship at Partington Advanced Engineering, I completed a research thesis investigating the effect of Industry 4.0 on Small Manufacturing Enterprises, witha deliverable in the form of a prototype Manufacturing Execution System.

My prototype consisted of software applications that were capable of Track and Trace functionality for the manufacturing process of a carbon fibre bicycle wheel. This included autonomous database recording as well as barcode scanning portals for the recording and displaying of information.
